How to Fold a Fitted Sheet in 6 Easy Steps
Ok ladies, let’s get those fitted sheets in formation! I know in the past no matter how I’ve tried to fold them they just don’t seem to fit together; making it so tempting to just wrap it up in a wrinkled semi-ball and throw it in the closet. If you’re ready bring some structure to your linen closet try this technique to slay those fitted sheets in 6 easy steps:
Turn the sheet inside out, hold it up, and put your hands into the top two corners.
Smooth out the sheet on a flat surface
Slip the top corners inside the two bottom corners and make sure they are neatly arranged.
Fold the sheet in half. Stack all four corners and try to create a smooth rectangle. (It doesn’t have to be perfect)
Fold the sheet in half again.
Now, make a rectangle by folding it in half again, and then smooth it out.
Not too bad right?! We hope you have the confidence to get those fitted sheets in formation, but if you are still having trouble please feel free to ask us to show you how it’s done.
Queen Bee Bonus: After the sheet has been folded, we like to put it into a pillowcase with the rest of the folded linen set. Keeping the whole set together provides organization and gets rid of the wasted time and stress that comes from looking for all of the pieces to the sheet set in a messy closet. Practice this a few times and before you know it, you will be a pro at folding fitted sheets.
